About Book
The Manual of Neonatology has been written to provide practical and useful information of various aspects of the care of the newborn for medical students, pediatric residents, neonatology fellows, pediatricians and neonatologists. It encompasses 29 chapters covering the gamut of common medical and surgical problems that are encountered in the neonate. The two appendices provide in-depth description of common neonatal procedures and medications useful in providing care to the sick newborn. The invited authors from India, USA and Canada are not only accomplished clinicians, but also have significant experience as researchers and teachers in the field of neonatology. It is written in a reader-friendly systematic style with an abundance of figures and tables to provide concise information.
