Manual of Oral Pathology - 2/e

There is a lack of structured training in Oral Pathology as far as the practical classes are concerned. This manual has been designed solely for the purpose of laboratory/practical classes where specimens, models and histopathologic slides are shown so that the student is well versed with the basic requirement of the subject before appearing for the Practical examination in Oral Pathology and Microbiology. Topics where slides or specimens are not normally shown have been covered in a questionnaire form which may be completed by the students in the class which will improve their theoretical knowledge as well. Brief descriptions of the topics have been included in this manual based on the standard textbooks of "A Textbook of Oral Pathology" by Shafer, Hine and Levy-4th Edition and "Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology" by Neville, Damm, Allen and Bouquot-2nd Edition. Only the "must know" topics of Oral Pathology have been included for the undergraduate students of Dentistry which most examiners would expect the students to be aware of, along with a CD of commonly shown specimens and slides.
