He is a member/fellow of a number of medical societies and is a member of editorial board of several journals of repute. He is also on panel of reviewers for various national journals. He has attended various conferences as faculty/judge/ chairperson. He has written several books and has 250 scientific papers to his credit. He has participated in trials conducted by UNICEF/ WHO/CSI/ICMR. He is a member of National Advisory Board of JAPI. Shiv Prakash is founder chairman and director of Synchron Research group of companies in Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Bangkok. He has remained associated with several pharmacological houses. He is also founder chairman of a central laboratory for clinical trials at Ahmedabad. He has more than 50 research papers to his credit. He has published a book on “Screening Methods in Pharmacology”. Presently, he is editor-in-chief of Indian Journal of Pharmacology.
