About the authors Dr. U. S. Agarwal, Professor and Unit Head, Department of Dermatology and STD, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, is an outstanding clinician and teacher. He has been working in the field of dermatology for the last 25 years with a special interest in pediatric dermatology and well known for his clinical acumen. He is a postgraduate in dermatology from renowned institute, SMS Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur. He has been honored with various research awards such as Sher-E-Kashmir Mohd. Abdulla Award, Ranganathan Memorial Award, B.N. Banerjee Gold Medal, etc. He has more than 40 research papers in various national and international journals. He has served as visiting professor and examiner in various universities of India. Dr. S. R. Shukla, Former Senior Professor and Head, Department of Dermatology and STD, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, is an MD from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He is an astute clinician and an eminent teacher known for his academic pursuits with a long teaching career of 34 years. He has been honored with State Merit Award by Government of Rajasthan for his outstanding contribution in the development of institution and in the field of dermatology. He had been an expert at Union Public Service Commission and at other state service commissions for selection of professors in the subject. He was awarded Fulford’s Oration Award besides many other awards from government and social organizations. He had been postgraduate examiner in various universities of India and Nepal. He has many publications to his credit in national and international journals.
