It gives pleasure to present Microbiology Practical Record and Logbook for MBBS Students. This book is prepared according to competency-based medical education (CBME) undergraduate curriculum given by Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission (MCI/NMC). This logbook covered all practical competencies given by MCI/NMC and providing ample space to record the experiment in detail. The logbook has been written in a simple, easy-understandable and clear language to prepare students to learn about the Medical Microbiology. Every experiment of this logbook contains laboratory practices step-by-step with a Practical Diagnostics Microbiology. The aim of this logbook is to provide practical guide for MBBS students. This logbook was outlined using compressed knowledge to make one of the most difficult subjects of medical microbiology as one of the most interesting and simplest subjects. The simple and easy-to-understand language have been used to make it very easy for the average student to understand the content of each experiment. This logbook contains a total of 29 practicals, along with the CBME number. Each practical lists specific learning objectives (SLOs) so that students can understand the importance of the experiment they need to study and acquire knowledge and skills after the experiment. This logbook also contains a total of 10 self directed learning (SDL) each with the topic and objectives as per the CBME guidelines by MCI/NMC, which will give students self confidence and improves their writing skills. The logbook also provides ample space for notes; students can use the space to note down the knowledge related information in detail as needed.
